Are you feeling a little peckish? The Dougarie Boathouse has several catering suppliers who cook up a wedding storm at wedding venues across Scotland. Whether it’s vegan, veggie or all the meats – we can put on a delectable smorgasbord of tasty treats!
As with all Dougarie Boathouse weddings, it’s “your wedding – your way.” Once you have booked your Isle of Arran wedding venue, our wedding planners can sit down and discuss various tasty options. We can go through canapes, sit-down wedding breakfasts, five-course sit-down a la carte meals, hog-roasts, pop-up food stalls (Arran does this exceptionally well), tapas and sharing boards, buffets to suit every taste or some simple, tasty nosh to fill those stomachs ready for a great party! We relish hearing your ideas. If you have a commercial supplier you’d prefer to use, and we have yet to hear of them – let’s get them to the Boathouse!
Obviously, we know that for some couples, all this food planning is not what you want to take your time up with. That is okay, too – we’re used to planning as little or as much of your wedding as you like. We can offer suggestions and organise the rest.
We’re lucky; the Isle of Arran has become well-known as a Scottish foodie haven. We have sensational suppliers here on the island who would love to feed you and your guests. One thing that will never happen at a Dougarie Boathouse wedding is you will never go hungry! We have excellent caterers the Dougarie Estate has used for many years. You can create whatever feast you want for your wedding celebration!
